The Wankhede Stadium is not proving to be a happy hunting ground for Chennai Super Kings, at least when they face Mumbai Indians in the IPL. The four-time champions registered their second lowest IPL total after being shot out for 97 in 16 overs by MI on Thursday. Their lowest total of 79 also came at the same venue and against the same opponent in 2013. Skipper MS Dhoni, 36 not out, was the lone bright spot in CSK’s shambolic batting performance.
At the time of going to press, MI were struggling at 66-4 after 10 overs.
