Filmmaker Hansal Mehta took a stand for justice by joining a protest in Mumbai, demanding action and accountability in the tragic case of a 31-year-old trainee doctor who was raped and murdered at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. Hansal Mehta and his daughter were spotted standing with placards in hand along with other protestors in Mumbai. The postgraduate trainee doctor was found dead in the seminar hall of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital on August 9. The incident has sparked nationwide protests and strikes by the medical community.
