<p>Amid rising Covid-19 cases across the country, a video of a massive crowd gathering on New Year's Eve at Goa's Baga beach has gone viral on social media.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The video was shared by user Herman Gomes and he captioned it, "This was Baga Beach in Goa, last night. Please take the Covid scenario seriously. This is a Royal &nbsp;welcome to the Covid wave Mostly tourists (sic)."</p>

<p>In the clip, hundreds of people can be seen walking on a road near Baga Beach in North Goa. This didn't go down too well with Twitterati and they made their displeasure known quite evidently.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, schools and colleges in Goa will remain closed till January 26 amid rising cases of coronavirus. Dr Shekhar Salkar, who is a member of the task force also said that night curfew from 11 pm to 6 am will be imposed soon. On January 2, 388 people had tested positive for Covid-19, taking the state tally to 1,81,570.</p>
