After a relentless chase through narrow lanes and wide roads, the police official finally caught the criminal.</p>

<p>For this heroic act, the Mangaluru City Police Commissioner on January 13 announced a Rs 10,000 cash reward for Assistant Sub-Inspector Varun Alva and felicitated him. During the investigation, it was found that the accused operated in Mangalore city and have been involved in several thefts and robberies.</p>
<p>Social media also applauded the bravery of the concerned policeman.</p>
