<p>A video of celebrity hairstylist Jawed Habib spitting on a woman's hair is going viral on social media. Yes, you have read it right!</p>
<p>The alleged incident took place during a training seminar in Uttar Pradesh's Muzzafarnagar.</p>
<p>In the clip, a woman can be seen sitting on a salon chair on the stage. Habib is seen preparing to cut her hair while giving hair care tips and says if there is a scarcity of water, the hairdresser can use his spit. He can also be heard saying, "Is thuk mein jaan hain."</p>

<p>The woman has been identified as Pooja Gupta and in a video, she shared her ordeal and said it was a humiliating experience and she would never get a haircut from Jawed Habib.</p>
<p>Netizens were not amused by Habib's move and made their displeasure known.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, the National Commission for Women (NCW) said that they have taken cognisance of the said event and a probe is underway. Habib apart from being a high-profile hairstylist is also a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which he had joined in 2019.</p>
