A history sheeter was arrested by the Ahmedabad crime branch for allegedly sending a threat email regarding a blast at Narendra Modi Stadium on October 14. The massive stadium in Ahmedabad is one of the venues of the ongoing World Cup; it is scheduled to host the cricket match between India and Pakistan on Saturday.  According to a report in PTI, the accused Karan Mavi, was arrested from Rajkot. 

Reportedly, in a mail addressed to BCCI in Hindi, he stated that there would be an explosion in Narendra Modi Stadium which is located in Motera area on October 14 which would make everyone "shudder".
