According to the India Meteorological Department, moderate to intense rainfall is very likely in districts of Palghar, Thane, Mumbai, Raigad, Ratnagiri and Pune during the next 3-4 hours.

Mumbai is likely to witness a rainy weekend as the weather agency has forecasted light to moderate rain in city and suburbs on Saturday as well.

Even as the rain poured down, it did not dampen people's joy. A mother-child duo happily walked back home amid heavy shower.

Business in Mumbai's Masjid area too carried per usual as everyone tried to make their way through the narrow alleways.

Another kid, covered in plastic sheet for cover from rain, was trying to channel his inner Batman as he walked through the city street with his Robin.
