The Mumbai Police had on Friday issued a traffic advisory, ahead of the New Year celebrations in the city, outlining temporary traffic regulations at key locations such as Marine Drive, Worli, Juhu and Bandra

The police had in a traffic notification said that on December 31, 2023, a huge influx of people and vehicles is expected at different areas and beaches in the city to welcome the New Year

To manage potential traffic congestion and ensure public safety, the police has declared specific areas as 'no parking zones' temporarily

A New Year's Eve event is scheduled at Bandra Reclamation and Carter Road

In several areas of the city including Juhu, the Mumbai Traffic Police has issued traffic diversions due to huge crowds visiting the seashores and beaches in Mumbai

The police, in the traffic notification on Friday, also issued alternate routes in parts of Mumbai to clear potential traffic jams in some areas of the city
