BMC is all set to welcome hindu devotees at the Girgaon Chowpatty beach on the immersion days (visarjan) during the 10-day Ganpati festival

This year the Ganesh Chaturthi festival will begin on September 19 and will continue for ten days until September 29

Besides household idols, a majority of the big mandals bring their tall idols, including Lalbaugcha Raja, Mumbaicha Raja, Tejukayacha Raja, chinchpokali cha Chintamani, and others, to Girgaum Chowpatty every year for immersion
