Mumbai: Pali Hill residents undertake mass testing after spike in COVID-19 cases

Bandra's Pali Hill, which falls in the H West ward currently has the second-highest growth rate of COVID-19 cases at 2.3 per cent.

After witnessing a spike in COVID-19 cases in Pali Hill, Bandra, residents decided to undertake a mass testing camp in the area. From those living in high-rises to house helps and other housekeeping staff in societies, local residents' associations have planned to get everyone tested.

According to a report in Times of India, Bandra's Pali Hill, which falls in the H West ward, currently has the second-highest growth rate of COVID-19 cases at 2.3 per cent. On Wednesday, RT- PCR tests of about 150 residents were conducted. Pali Hill Residents Association secretary Madhu Poplai said they have tied up with the civic body for the testing drive.
