A purported video of Maharashtra Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kirit Somaiya has emerged, which had been drawing criticism from the Opposition. Reacting to the video, the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) said that the video of Kirit Somaiya has exposed the true and sordid character of the BJP.

“Be it the rapists of Kathua and Unnao, or the sexual harassment allegations by Women Olympians on Wrestling Federation Chief Brijbhushan Singh, the BJP is the fountainhead of morally reprehensible anti-women crimes. BJP is a party without morals and naturally it's leaders are spineless and with a weak moral fibre,” AAP Mumbai President Preeti Sharma Menon said in a statement.
