Chinese-Canadian actor Simu Liu, best known for headlining Marvel Studios’ martial arts superhero film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, on Tuesday announced his book, We Were Dreamers: An Immigrant Superhero Origin Story.

The star, 32, who shared the news on Instagram, described the book as a “deeply personal journey” which was in the making for “nearly three years”.  We Were Dreamers will hit the bookshelves on May 3.
