The movie, directed by Elizabeth Banks, stars Academy award nominee Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Hailee Steinfeld and Brittany Snow.
"I was so proud to see our poster go up after the 'Fast &amp; Furious' poster. I think it's important for women to see that someone wants to tell their story and make a movie that's not about who's going to get married and have a boyfriend," Banks said in a statement while talking about the film.
Considering the popularity of the previous instalment, the expectations are running high with the release of the sequel too.
